or our service. The 15 day period commences on the date
you are issued your FTP password. Requests for contract
termination must be faxed to (902) 827-3278 (not e-mailed).

What's WebMail and how does it
work?
WebMail is a popular feature of NitroTek
hosting accounts - our clients love it!. It allows you
access your POP3 e-mail account from any internet computer
anywhere, much like Hotmail. To access Webmail, visit
http://www.yourdomain.org:2095
(that's a colon followed by 2095), then type in your
username (it looks like your e-mail address but with
a "+" instead of an "@"). Type in
your secret password, then click on the SquirrelMail or Horde
icon, and you're in!

How safe are on-line donations?
For your clients, on-line transactions
(donations or purchases using a credit card) are safer
than passing your card details over the phone because
the details are encrypted using Secure Socket Layer
(SSL) technology. You can tell whether you are on a
secure server because a padlock or key will appear at
the bottom of your browser’s screen. Also, most
secure sites begin “https…” rather
than the normal “http…” If your clients
are at all uncomfortable about on-line credit card transactions,
offer them an alternative means of paying/donating (fax,
mail or phone).
